A normal workweek is 10 to 20 hours per week. Students are encouraged not to work more than 20 hours per week when classes are in session and not more than 35 hours per week during breaks when classes are not in session. International students can work up to 35 hours per week during the summer break.
For students with a student employment allowance in their financial aid package, the total annual earnings may not exceed the allotted award.
The Financial Aid department will be monitoring student earnings throughout the year and will contact the student and employer if the guidelines above are not followed
